In 2010, we took our passion for travel to the next level by booking our first music charter with Royal Caribbean Cruise Line (RCL). This move revolutionized the music charter space, and in just ten years, FDT became RCL's top charter client. Crystal Campbell is part of the leadership team at Flying Dutchmen Travel, where she brings over 20 years of experience in cruise and event management. Crystal has traveled to over 85 countries, with Africa—especially Botswana—being her favorite destination, where the people made it truly unforgettable. Her extensive travels across the globe, help her craft unique, personalized adventures for clients.
Crystal's career includes leadership roles at Royal Caribbean, such as Director of Business Integration and Managing Director in Hong Kong. Now a leader at Flying Dutchmen Travel, her deep understanding of the cruise and event sectors ensures that clients receive the highest level of service and personalized attention for their travel needs.
Crystal's passion for travel began at the early age of 5 when her family left Texas, moving to the small British Overseas Territory of Montserrat. Over the years she lived in London, Michigan, Spain, Massachusetts, Florida, France, and Hong Kong before settling back in Austin, TX. With a Master's in International Business, she combines her global perspective with meticulous planning to ensure every client's trip exceeds expectations.
Crystal's dedication to crafting tailored experiences makes her stand out. She draws from her vast travels and industry expertise. She credits her parents and Royal Caribbean CEO Michael Bayley as mentors and upholds the values of integrity, client satisfaction, and passion for exploration.
When she's not working, Crystal enjoys listening to live music—a passion that started while listening to her dad and brother play guitar, staying energized with outdoor activities, and traveling to new destinations.
